Las Vegas, United States

Hello Vegas

Las Vegas, Nevada in the Mojave Desert is famed for its 24-hour casinos, vibrant night life and plethora of entertainment attractions. Along the famous 8 miles of Vegas Strip you can find themed hotels, replicas of an Egyptian pyramid, the Eiffel Tower, and the Venetian Grand Canal.

Other than casinos all day long, what else is there to do when you visit Vegas? I’m glad you asked. Here are a few of our favorite things to do in Las Vegas:

Public art at City Center:

Within the 67-acre City Center complex you can find several different art displays. Head on down to the Glacia where you’ll see 15 t tall ice columns that are set up each morning and melt all day long producing their own unique patterns.

Fountains at Bellagio:

One of the most iconic sites in Vegas is the artificial lake in front of the Ballagio Hotel. With more than 1,000 fountains, some spraying more than 450 ft into the air, the fountains are set to music and produce an amazing display of dancing and cannon shots. The fountains are set to go off every 30 minutes on weekdays from 3pm to 8pm and then every 15 minutes after that until midnight.

Adventure dome:

The Adventure dome is the main attraction at Circus Circus Hotel & Casino. With a glass-enclosed 5 acre big top there are so many things to explore. Try out the roller coasters, including the one that drops at 1.5 vertical-G. Please don’t eat before riding this one! If this isn’t necessarily your cup of tea, then try the virtual reality experiences, carousel, or other rides under the dome.

The Mirage Volcano:

The Mirage on Las Vegas Boulevard is home to water cannons, fireballs, and booming percussions each time the volcano erupts.

The Fall of Atlantis Show:

At Caesar’s Palace, in the Forum Shop tourists delight at the free 11 minute animatronic show that tells the story of the Lost City of Atlantis. The ailing King Atlas has to decide which of his children will rule in his place.

Las Vegas is more than just casinos, nightlife and wedding chapels. Plan a vacation to Vegas and see the many wonderful displays that won’t break the bank account.
