“I think the administration at this school is average. The test scores at this school seem to be the lowest in a five mile radius which is concerning to me. In comparision to other schools in the region I think this school needs additional programs. Many of the teachers are the school seem very talented. My son had a fabulous teacher and really learned a lot. I just wish the administration had more educational programs and the school was able to get the test scores up.”

“My son had started Kindergarten this year and I love it. Tanaka is a wonderful school. The teachers and staff are great with the kids!”

“My child is in the full day Kindergarten program and academically is doing great. His teacher has done a wonderful job teaching him the skills he needs to be a good reader. Unfortunately we are moving out of the area and he will be attending another school next year. I can only hope there he will have as great of an experience as he has had at Tanaka.”

“My child was fortunate enough to get into their full day kindergarten program. I am so surprised at what she is learning at this grade level! The teachers are very dedicated to their students. They have a variety of cultural and parent involvement activities. I am keeping my child here for now even since we can afford sending her to private school! It takes a parents involvement in a child's education and constant participation in the school's programs!”

“My daughter is at Tanaka in the Extended Kindergarten. First year at a big school and she has transitioned wonderfully. I was concerned of course her attending a big school for the first time but he staff have made both me and her very welcomed. Her big brother who attends the Middle School down the street has positive experiences with staff when he picks her up as well. I have also volunteered as well at the bookfair and in the classroom. The Librarian is great too! LOVE TANAKA!”

“My little sister use to go here and I think that it is a wonderful school! They whole staff is great and really care about the children. They always have school fundraisers to help raise money for the school and I know the kids really like it. I recommend this school for everbody grades K-5!”
