Outstanding! I have had 100% positive experience with every teacher at this school. They all are amazing. Great communication! If I ever have a question or need the teachers they make themselves available. I always have a thoughtful, professional response. This school deserves 10 stars.

I like this school a lot! All of my teachers were very guiding and very nice and I had a great sixth grade, and I'm looking forward to next year.

I enjoyed this school for the 3 years I've been in it. Of course, there's bullying. But no more than any other school. It will happen anywhere. However, they really do try their best to give you a great experience.

This school is top notch! The principal shows excellent leadership and has hand-picked the best teachers to deliver instruction to students who attend this school. Teachers have high expectations and they create a positive learning environment. The Parentlink automated system is updated regularly so parents can access how well their child is doing in school. There are many clubs and activities to keep students engaged in the school community. Parents can receive regular communication about the school's events through the Principal's emailed newsletter, parent meetings, and the school newsletter. This school is the best in Henderson!

In response to the student statement about bullying, Miller is one of the few schools that is taking a proactive stance against all forms of bullying at school, both physical and online forms. The librarian has lead two evening sessions for parents on the dangers and solutions of cyberbullyng, the entire 7th grade has had guest speakers from the anti-defamation league to the school to teach about bullying, the counselors are great and lead workshops in different classes about bullying, the entire 8th grade has taken an anonymous cyberbullying survey to help the administration stay current with the needs of the students, and Miller is one of the first schools in Clark County that has a anonymous link on the Bob Miller web-page for students or parents to report any bullying activities at school. If Miller isn't the most aggressively anti-bullying school in the district, then it's definitely near the top!

This school is awful. The bullying is terrible and the principal is clueless about the pushing that goes on in the halls since he's not on hand and you never really see him unless he's at an assembly.

i was a student at bob miller and there was many opportunities for me there, i was in all advance classes and had the very best teachers, they taught me a whole lot that i still even use now.... bob miller is NOT dirty i do not know where you get that from because i have been there for 3 full years.. we win many awards academically and physically which impressed many others.. it was the best experience of my life i never regret going there.. though i had some difficulty at first when i was new, it was all worth it... class discussions were the best part.. and many teachers were open minded about what we had to say and explained in detail to our questions.. but in unaccelerated classes.. it is kind of different.. they are also treated differently.. but i do know how it is in advanced classes

Not the best school. Very dirty, not a good enviornment.

I was disappointed by the inexperience and lack of ability of some of the teachers.

F. Enrolled our child in April which we knew wasn't optimal, but husband's job moved us. They had NO regulations for acclimating new kids into their school. Counselor told us there would be an aid to help our child around the first day and the first day I went in and they had a kid who seemed disinterested in showing her around showed up at front office. The office gal asked if he'd show her around and he said 'sure' and so I left. Turns out he said a few things and then showed her her first class and just left. She ended up being put into the lunch hour that is the fullest and she knew no one (duh) and her teacher before lunch didn't ask if someone would show her around or have lunch with her. TERRIBLE procedure for new students, principal needs to do more, pathetic.

Though I only attended Miller for the second semester of my eighth grade, I have to say I was terribly disappointed with the school. My parents chose our house around the schools that were best, and though Miller had good promises, it just didn't live up. Most of my teachers were intelligent, yes, but they either didn't know how to control a class or didn't know how to properly teach us. The PE was pathetic, the leadership class doing hardly anything and the lunch - or rather 'crazed feeding time', as I refered to it - was a badly organized mess. All they do is praise the above average students and forget about the average ones or the ones who are in average - what they call in a morally degrading term 'Developmental' - classes. My experience there was less than optimistic.

This school is the worst school ever. The teachers are great but the administration is completely worthless.

As a parent of a sixth grader at Miller, I only have positive things to say. The technology/library at the school are amazing, with teachers being well educated in their use...can't say enough about that Mr. Hensley, the information specialist. Kids at this school are pushed to join music programs, and to take accelerated classes. It is safe and friendly. I would recommend this school to anyone.

We moved to Nevada last summer. Our daughter enrolled at Miller MS at the start of this year. We heard Miller was a good school, but when she earned straight A's and her principal signed her report card with a special note to her, we knew Miller was a GREAT school. The best!

This is a very good school! I enjoyed the two years I was there greatly! The Leadership program has one good teacher! Its a great way to get involved in the school if you are a new student it also looks good! You plan all the dances and most of the schools events! The 7th grade History teachers were my fondest moments in 7th grade! It is all around a great school!

As a student I have to say this school has been the best school I've ever been to. The teachers really do care about students who are falling behind, that is, unless they are disruptive. My reading teacher was teacher of the year for Nevada and I really can't argue with that reward. As far as other teachers go they are equally great as well. At this school I feel safe. All in all this school is by far the best in all of Clark County.

I was an administrator at this school who moved from the state last year (2006) and really enjoyed myself during my two years at Miller. I'm now an administrator in another state and I must say that Miller is certainly the middle school to be at period. From the administration to the teachers to the students, it simply doesn't get any better. I truely miss working there and can only hope to work with such great people again! Keep up the great job! I've attended this school for three years and just recently graduated, and I have to say this is without a doubt the best middle school in Clark County. It's no secret that our county doesn't have the best testing scores, but Miller is the exception. We've got the scores to prove we're the smartest in county. Besides that, the sports are great. Miller has a championship winning basketball team, a three team consecutive winning JV Quiz team, a top notch performing arts program(in every aspect), and plenty of clubs to get involved in. It also has to be one of the safest areas in Clark County. Teachers are amazing. Especially if you have a kid going into the accelerated program, then you're child will definitely get taught by a group of dedicated teachers. Academics, Sports, Teachers, and a variety of clubs is what keeps Miller at the top.

I attened Bob Miller for seventh and eighth grade; for sixth grade I attened another middle school in Clark County, comparing the two Bob Miller definately has a better campus, a more friendly atmosphere and I felt safer. Although I prefer Bob miller, most of the teachers didn't seem like they wanted to be there. - Alexandra

Bobs Miller is a horrible school becaus eof the attitudes of the kids.

Bob Miller MS is a school filled with hard working teachers and administrators who continually go beyond the call of duty to ensure student achievement. There are countless clubs and after school activities. There are a variety of sports: Basketball, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Hiking, Biking, Tennis, Bowling, and others. The music and arts programs are high quality with caring and enthusiastic teachers. There is a very high academic standard as well. The counselors take their job very seriously, proactively helping students to adjust to middle school/teenage/adult life, and also make certain that the teachers are equipped to handle any problems that may arise. Bob Miller MS is an excellent school. I recommend it to anyone who cares about their child's education.

The academics at this school are good, but not great compared to other states we have lived in (Texas and Missouri), but for a Clark County School this is about the best you'll get! The administrative staff are very involved with the students and make a great effort to make school fun. Don't get me wrong, though, this is a very strict on discipline school, which is what these kids need! There are some great teachers there, and there are some awful teachers there...we have had both! Our main complaint, besides being a little behind academically, is that there are virtually NO SPORTS at the middle schools in Clark County(and they wonder why the gang and youth violence is on the increase in Clark County). Their band/orchestra/choir is top notch. Overall, probably the best Middle School in Clark County.

I had a 7th grader which attended during the 05-06 school year. It was 50/50. The teachers were extreme. On one side they were the most generous/supportive/encouraging educators. On the other, mean spirited/cruel/unkind and apparently did not like children very much! At times I wondered why this person was teaching our children at all! Unfortunately these 2 particular female teachers really put a bad taste in my mouth about this school. I won't go into the unprofessional office staff they have! It's mainly the registration staff and one particular administrator that told me 'she didn't like getting involved with parent/teacher relations' I wonder what exactly does this woman do? The only positive--the school band, and the very dedicated band teacher, and maybe a few educators I can count on one hand!

My daughter goes to this shool. She was supported by all her teachers. All s even of her teachers showed up to meetings. They would email when she was following behind. She was getting additional help in her classes, this school really cares about there students and make it easy for parents to follow along and help there kids also. Thanks for being there for my daughter and me. Everytime I go there they have an activity going on for these kids such as tennis. Alot of these teachers offer homework help on there own time afterschool, they will even help in other classes. They have a email between parent, teacher, and student to keep everyone on track to missing assignments, absences and test scores. If your complaining about this school then I think your kids lying to you .

I am a student at BMMS, and have been for 3 years. First off, this is a great school. Our school has may more after schools activities, and electives. I am taking band this year, and I am enrolled in Jazz band and Symphonic band. We are one of the few schools that offers the Jazz band. The school also has alot of spirit, we can thank the great staff for that, especially our principal, who puts his own money into this school. If you can enroll in this school. Do it.

I am a student at Bob Miller. I think anybody who thinks this isn't a so-totally-awesome school should really try talking to everyone in it. Yeah, some of the teachers might be a little mean, but you can't say you never went through school without at least one mean teacher. I must say I am getting the best education so far from this school. (So far meaning out of the previous schools I've been to.)

I am a student who goes to Bob Miller and it's great! We have lots of school spirit and I would recommend our school to anybody! The teachers that I have at least are very supportive and are almost always available on e-mail. There are many after school activities and tons of field trips. I would NEVER change schools no matter what.

My son attended Bob Miller for two years. During his two years at Bob Miller most of his teachers were very uncooperative and only a few seemed to really care. It seemed like they had a very low staff morale. My son did well, but struggled with the negative attitudes coming from the teachers. We eventually found a home in an area outside of this schools boundaries. Our son is now very happy at his new school. I would not recommend this school to anyone.

I think this school is wonderful. We have school spirit, we try so hard in reaching our goals, and we give others a good influence. The teachers could use some improvement with their positive attitudes on teaching. Also the office staff could use much improvement, but all around this school is the best. We really try hard to be the best too. I highly recommend this school.

My son went to this school for 6th, 7th & is currently in the 8th grade there. Although there are some great teachers there, they are few and far in between. If this was not his zoned school, he would not be there.

I attended this school for sixth grade and am now in 7th. The teachers are great but they dont put up with bad students. I would reccomend this school.

I attended school here for sixth grade. Not many of the teachers were very helpful, and when I moved to a new school I was behind. The atmosphere is very friendly, although the students aren't very acceptive of new students. I wouldn't recomend this school.
