“Basic is a really interesting school:) there are so many diverse and amazing people here, I'd know, I go to school with them every single day. The teachers here are also beyond amazing. They go out of their way just to make sure that you are staying on track. It helps us students realize that we have support inside and out of school. Its a great school, yeah:) Im only a sophomore but Im planning on spending all four years here. The only downs are that it can be really crowded, especially in the halls, but its not that bad.”

“I have seen my children blossom at Basic. The school teaches academics, MJROTC, guitar and to respect one another. Working at the football games, I have nothing but respect for the students. They are mostly polite, respectful and a great asset to Henderson. This is a real community school - most parents are involved with the school. I could not ask for a better school in Henderson/Las Vegas than Basic. This school teaches/shows 'old school' values with the kids that go there today. Couldn't of asked for anything better. Go Wolves!”

“basic is a really cool school, theres lots of diversity and thats really great :) its really crowded though, which is a downside. and some of the teaxhers are wacko, but i love our office staff! :)”

“My son attends Basic HIgh School and started his freshman year there. We came from Hawaii and he had struggled there for years. For some reason, he was able to do so much better and I truly attribute it to the teachers and staff at Basic High School. He ended his freshman year with a 3.91 GPA. This is the first he had ever gotten A's in his life and he is very proud. We hope for continued success and I will do everything in my power to keep him at Basic High School.”

“I attended Basic High School from 1998 through 2002. It was absolutely one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I'm enlisted in the USMC now, and if I had a choice, I would attend Basic High School all over again, just for the experience of having teachers, faculty, and staff that care enough to become concerned. Thanks for everything Basic.”

“I'm a freshmen at Basic High School! This school is the far the best from all the schools that I've been to. Teachers, Counselors and Administration always have time to listen and take care of your concern :)Basic is the far best High School in the entire Clark County School District! It's true what they say 'Once a wolf, always a wolf!' Go Basic Wolves! This fabulous school with great teachers, isn't a magnet school and should be one! All students should in the schools district should take the time and go to Basic! and you'll choose this school then any other school out there!”

“I am a former student of Basic High School. I believe it is one the best schools. I had great teachers all around. My counselor Mr. Tittman is the best. He let me know what I had to do from day one in regards to graduating without any trouble. The JROTC program was awesome as well. They helped build self-discipline, confidence within myself. It is not hard to make friends there most kids are nice and open to the fact of making new friends. I had the best four years at Basic High School. I believe their hard work and dedication to the students is what helped me get through the four years without in problems. I always felt safe there due to top notch security (police) and cameras everywhere watching over us. I recommend this school to anyone who is deciding what school to choose for their children. Good Luck!”
