Calvary Christian Learning Academy Reviews

Calvary is an excellent school. The staff is caring and thoughtful. The prices are just as good as the other schools in the area. My daughter attends CCLA and its been a great experience. I hope the booster club can come together and do good things for the school. The new principal is awesome and we love the new staff.

My son has been going there for 2 years and just finished pre-k. Ms. Carrie was awesome! I love this school, but unfortunately due to a job loss, I may have to put him in public kindegarten in the fall and I am dreading it! He is so advanced from attending CCLA, and I know he will be bored! I HIGHLY recommend this school!

Hi there, I just would like to say that this school is amazing. My daughter has went there for 2 years. It is on the higher price schools but how can some one put a price on great learning. They learn the gift of god and the skills around that. I do have to say Ms, Roach the Kinder Garden Teacher. Is the top of the list in that school. She made my daughter learn and have a wonderful time at it, she looked forword to going to school.. The reason i gave a 4 star is because the 1st grade teacher my daughter was in did a leason about something i was not to happy with. I called her on it and she never talked to me again when i pick my daughter up. She told something pretty Morbid to the kids not cool. But that was the only thing.

My daughter went to school for two years and she loved it. Wanted to get up and go every morning to see Ms. Shannon. She still misses going there. Great teacher and staff. My daughter is now in kindergarten in a different state and is way ahead of her reading.

My daughters have just started going to Calvary Christian Academy (CCA) they were a bit apprehensive about a new school. We were at Tree of Life, to expensive, way too much drama and not very secure. I am very impress with the staff there very professional and giving. The public school system is a year to two behind because CCA uses A Beka curriculum which makes a huge difference. Christian values and attitude make a huge difference in the leaning environment. They have parent s night available which gives the parents several hours without the children. The school security is exceptional all children are checked in and out and nobody is allowed past the front desk without a code, no exceptions. The new playground is my daughter s favorite place with monkey bars and it s covered and secure. The food from the kitchen gets better reviews than mine does, and with hot meals available we don t have to pack lunch s anymore!

My children have just completed their first full year at CCLA (1 Pre-K and 1 3rd Grade) and we all love it! The staff (teachers & admin) truley care about the kids, their safety and education. My children have learned far more this past year than they would have in public school. As with any newer school, their are growing pains from time to time, but over all I would reccommend this school to anyone considering private school. The most important thing to me is my children's education, simply because you only get one shot at it! The small classs sizes has a huge impact on the one on one time the teachers get to spend with the children. My 3rd grader was doing good in public school, but he didn't have nearly the excitement about what he was learning in class as he did once he started at CCLA.

I've had 3 children so far attend CCLA for Pre-K and will have my 4th child begin when he is 18 months. My children love the school, I love the school. They have learned so much even attending part time. I feel that my children are safe and happy there.

My daughter has gone to this school since pre-school. They have an excellent school curriculum and the smaller classes (no more than 15-16) enable more one-on-one teaching and interaction. The kids are actually excited about learning, as the teachers strive to make it fun for them.

CCLA is a great school where your child will be able to make genuine friendships with the other students there. As far as the curriculum, it is average most like any other school. I feel that the school needs to invest in more playground equipment for the preschool as well as the the elementary side. At times, the administration is sometimes not in the best of moods (it usually shows on her face) but the teachers seems to care about the students. I would like more chapel time in the school.

CCLA is a quality school and has an exceptional program. The teachers genuinely care about the children there. I don't worry about my daughter when she is there because their security is top-notch. I recommend CCLA to everyone I meet.
