Andre Rochat, Chef/Proprietor of Andre's French Restaurant has done it again! Las Vegas' most awarded and honored French Restaurant, where, only the best is good enough, now has a second location within the Monte Carlo Resort Hotel. The intimate main dining room seats fifty and features the Renaissance decor reminiscent of a French Chateau's formal dining room with a glowing fireplace and recessed, hand-painted ceilings. The tables are magnificent with fresh flowers, Versace china, sterling silver and the soft glow of candlelight.

My expectations were very high as i read other's reviews. tables were too close to other's so i dock major points for romantic atmosphere.
my spinach salad was great. my sole was good but overpriced.

We adore Andre?s and recommend it to everyone interested in a truly incredible dining experience. We?ve dined here as often as possible on our trips to Las Vegas and each time we?ve come away with better and better experiences, something we didn't think possible! The Louis XVI drawing room is a perfect place to start the evening, and our favorite dining venue is the intimate upstairs dining room ? it may seat only 18 or so (a guestimate) ? which features impeccable attention from the wait staff, gorgeous Versace china, beautiful linens, delightful palate cleansing intermezzos, and incredible course after course. Whether having a dinner before a show ? we once ran from Andre?s at the Monte Carlo to the Luxor in order to not miss our show because we couldn?t bear to shortchange our wonderful dining experience ? or a relaxing evening in front of the fireplace chatting with Socrates, the maitre d? on our first visit years ago, followed by a multi-course extravaganza, you will not forget Andre?s. It is a must on any foodie?s list and a wonderfully memorable dining experience for any special occasion.
Pros: Amazing Fine Dining Experience -- Truly Memorable, Incredibly Decadent & Beautiful Intimate Setting!
Cons: No cons whatsoever. This is an Outstanding Restaurant.
Pretty Good

My dinner was pretty good. Started with raisin walnut bread and a delicious fingerling potato salad amuse bouche. Next a standard escargot appetizer and then a phyllo-wrapped pear & Roquefort salad. It would have been better without the odd purplish reduction and a citrus vinaigrette would have made it come together. The cream of parsnip soup was excellent but slightly too peppery for me. The palate cleanser was a cold strawberry soup with a blah taste of frozen sweetened strawberries. My entree was the seafood ravioli with cream sauce and tomatoes, with 3 perfectly seared sea scallops, 2 large shrimp, and 2 strips of fried calamari. The calamari was misplaced - better would have been a small lump of lobster. Overall, though, a great dish and a good value. Finally, I enjoyed the housemade petits fours. The service was attentive without being overbearing. Total bill including tip was $105.
Pros: Service, Menu
Cons: Somewhat expensive
