One step off the street into the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood and visitors may easily find themselves “in the Pink.”

That’s because the legendary Pink’s Hot Dogs, one of Los Angeles’ most famous culinary hotspots, is now open at the front of the hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard and is offering dozens of different types of hotdogs and other gourmet fast-food fare. Set up as a hot dog stand, the interior of the 1,900 sq. ft. eatery allows customers to come in right off the Strip and walk up and select a made-to-order hot dog off the menu.

“Pink’s Hot Dogs, known for their quality and value, have been devoured and enjoyed by residents of Los Angeles for decades,” said Las Vegas restaurateur Billy Richardson, the CEO and creative mind behind LBS: A Burger Joint and now Pink’s Hot Dogs Las Vegas.  “The people of Las Vegas now have the opportunity to taste the world’s greatest hot dog without sitting in the traffic of I-15.”

Known as “Home of the World’s Best Chili Dog,” a title earned for the recipe specially developed by founder Betty Pink who originated Pink’s as a family-owned hot dog stand in 1939, the iconic Pink’s is approaching its 70th anniversary. It has gained its notoriety through its celebrity following, quality food and great value.

As for the hotdogs, they are all beef with natural casing and customers have the option to add unique toppings like guacamole, pastrami, or bacon or classics like grilled onion or chopped tomato to their dogs.

The Las Vegas hot dog spot offers more than 20 varieties of hot dogs, including classic dogs like the Chili Dog, Chicago Polish Dog, and Bacon Chili Cheese Dog topped with three strips of bacon, tomatoes, and cheese.  Adding to the variety of selections, Pink’s also serves their Special Dogs like the Bacon Burrito Dog.

Just for the Las Vegas location, there is the Vegas Strip Dog, which is built with two hotdogs, guacamole, cheese, mustard, onions and jalapeños. There is also the Planet Hollywood Dog, which includes polish sausage, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, bacon, and cheese.

Other items are available at Pink’s, including burgers and sides like chili fries, onion rings, chili cheese nachos, and a bowl of chili. Exclusive to the Las Vegas location, Pink’s is also offering alcoholic beverages to its customers, as well as indoor and outdoor seating.
