Calling all creatures of the night!

Phantom of the Opera fans from around the world will make Phantom history when they gather at the Venetian this September for the first-ever Phantom Fans Week.

Phantom — The Las Vegas Spectacular's celebration of all things “Phantom” takes place Sept. 16–20. Legendary producer and director Hal Prince will speak, and the celebration will give two lucky people the chance to don costumes, makeup and wigs and transform into the Opera Ghost and his star pupil, Christine!

Phantom's award-winning hair and makeup artists will use actual materials from the show. The two fans will be selected at Friday’s Insider Session by associate costume designer Sam Fleming.

The five days of festivities will open on Thursday night with a Masquerade Ball Welcome Party in the hotel’s St. Mark’s Square. Fans will dress in their most elaborate masquerade attire for this meet-the-cast event and night full of special surprises, courtesy of The Grand Canal Shoppes.

Insider Sessions will provide fans with exclusive behind-the-scenes access and the opportunity to meet the Phantom cast. There will be a question-and-answer session with Tony Award-winner Anthony Crivello, who plays the Phantom.

In another session, fans can hear how the Opera Garnier of Paris was recreated specifically for The Venetian — at the cost of $40 million! Fans will also have the chance to meet a star that they can only meet in the Vegas Phantom:  Maria, the one-ton, 15 foot-wide, 16 foot-tall chandelier.

Closing out the extraordinary week will be famed director and 21-time Tony Award-winner Hal Prince, the keynote speaker. Fans will hear about his career, his work on The Phantom of the Opera and the process of transitioning it into the 95-minute Las Vegas event.  Click here for a complete schedule.

Fans can spend a full week or a short weekend at the event. Activities and registration fees are available to meet almost any travel schedule or budget. All levels include admission to all six Insider Sessions, including Hal Prince's keynote address, the makeover session with Sam Fleming, the chance to take in up to four Phantom performances and the grand Masquerade Ball at St. Mark’s Square with the cast. You can register online or by calling (702) 414-1000.

If that’s not enough, fans can partake in special add-on events, such as dinner with Executive Producer Scott Zeiger at Wolfgang Puck’s Postrio Restaurant or the Farewell Brunch at the Bouchon Restaurant.
