The Hard Rock is heralding the completion of a tall order – the opening of its new tower almost two months ahead of schedule.

The Paradise Tower is the newest addition to the Las Vegas horizon, upping the ante on Hard Rock’s hotel side where luxury and attitude are concerned. Sexy sophistication meets signature Hard Rock party hardy attitude in a 490- room venue. But while those familiar with the hotel’s brand will notice a significantly increased lavish atmosphere in the tower, they will still find the irreverent "anything-can-happen" ambiance there that they have come to expect from the property.

“The Hard Rock is evolving,” said Phil Shalala, Hard Rock’s vice president of marketing, “It has really melded into the perfect property for the young affluent consumer that is into music, fashion, technology and lifestyle in general. It really stands for that perfect balance.”

Decorated with materials such as leather, wood, and silver-studded velvet, the rooms of the new tower, designed by Mark Zeff, evoke visions of a rock ‘n’ roll manor house. The building boasts 18 floors, including a 3,500-square-foot Penthouse and 10 pool suites,

With its floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, the Penthouse offers panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip, which can be seen unobstructed from end to end, while a turn in either direction provides a sweeping view of the surrounding mountains. The interior of the Penthouse seeks to be a treat for the senses as well with its deep mahogany woods, platinum tiles, oversized hot tub, interactive digital pool table, and an entire video wall with a big screen TV.

Aptly named, the pool suites overlook, and, in some cases, offer direct access to the Hard Rock’s renowned Beach Club pool. The most coveted real estate in the tower, the suites all differ from each other. Some of the features include two-level “duplexes,” doors that open to direct access to one's own cabana or to the pool deck, or a spacious glass balcony overlooking the pool scene.

Four of the pool suites are mini suites designed by Zeff. They follow the guest room aesthetic but on a larger scale. As for the remaining six suites, they are the visions of local design talent Mark Tracy of Chemical Spaces.  Given carte blanche to create six suite versions of the ultimate ultra lounge, Tracy has ensured that each suite takes on a life of its own. Each  transports guests into another world, one of rock ‘n’ roll fantasy via giant hand painted graphic murals, bold colors, shimmering tiles, and high gloss elements mixed with white hardwood floors.

Rock on.
