Qua Baths and Spa: When at Caesars Palace, do as the Romans did
Caesars Palace has long been the ultimate in luxury. The casino's new 50,000-square-foot Qua Baths & Spa lives up to Caesars' reputation.
Qua offers patrons a chance to release their stress and fatigue and enjoy the latest state-of-the-art signature amenities amidst luxurious Old World charm.
In the glory days of Rome, the great philosophers would come together to espouse their ideas at splendorous baths. Qua shows that the gathering concept still holds water.
The venue invokes the calming and healing properties of “aqua” in an atmosphere that can be enjoyed by individuals, couples or — in what is being called “social spa-ing” — the “troops” (siblings, friends, extended families or small groups.)
Like the Roman baths of history, these baths are designed to be vibrant social settings. The spa menu contains a cross-section of services designed for specific categories of clients — men, women, couples, pregnant women and groups.
One of the distinctive services is Las Vegas’s first Arctic Ice Room, where guests can unwind after heat treatments by using ice chips to cool, exfoliate and invigorate themselves amidst the crisp 55-degree air.
Another Vegas first — and one of the most different and fun offerings at Qua — is the Crystal Body Art, a fashion-oriented treatment designed to be a shared social experience for women in which tiny Swarovski crystals are adhered to the body in different patterns.
All in all, Qua offers about 40 treatments, including facial treatments using professional product lines. There is also an expansive 5,500-square-foot fitness center, a women’s salon, a man’s two-chair barbershop and a retail shop.
