What happens when you combine a legendary choreographer with every red-blooded man’s sweetest dream? No, you don’t get visions of sugarplums dancing in your head but rather a “FANTASY come to life right in front of your eyes in the form of an array of sensuous dancers, live music, and steamy vignettes nightly in the intimate Atrium Showroom at Luxor.

Produced by Anita Mann, who has been honored by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences as one of America’s top five contemporary choreographers (she is also the recipient of six Emmy nominations and two Emmys), FANTASY is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary at the hotel. In honor of that milestone, the show welcomed former “Baywatch” star and Playboy model Angelica Bridges on October 13 as its new headliner.   In addition to having appeared in more than 20 television series, Bridges has been on the cover of GQ, Esquire and Playboy and other national and international magazines. Maxim recently named her one of the “50 Sexiest Women in the World.”

“FANTASY is the next evolution of the Las Vegas showgirl, putting a sexy and contemporary spin on a classic icon so cherished and revered,” says Felix Rappaport, president of Luxor. “FANTASY has been a tremendous entertainment draw at Luxor for the past decade and Angelica’s addition to the cast is going to take the show to another level.”

Also new to the show is singer Katie Dix. Most recently, Dix, who is the vocalist for the band Envy, hosted the summer pool parties at the Monte Carlo.  Earlier in her career, she caught the attention of country artist Buck Owens, who regularly showcased her on his world-renowned Crystal Palace stage and radio.

All the numbers in FANTASY were the concept of Anita Mann in conjunction with award-winning choreographer Cris Judd, Gustavo Vargas from Canada’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” and Tiger Martina. In honor of the show’s anniversary, new choreography and music has been added to the revue, which seeks to tempt the imagination. FANTASY contains music from a variety of genres, including pop, rock, country, and Latin.   Providing comic relief in the show is Sean E. Cooper, who does right-on impressions of pop cultures most popular personalities, including James Brown, Tina Turner, and Michael Jackson.

To wake, perchance to dream….if you're 18 or older.
