M&M's World is sweet heaven for chocolate lovers
The sweet taste of success awaits you at M&M’s World in the form of a four-story monument to chocolate. An interactive shopping and retail complex, each floor of this chocolate lover’s dream offers a different layer of M&M’s brand merchandise items, which number in the thousands. Traveling by escalator from floor to floor is a trip in itself – back in time. The walls are a timeline of how the M&M’s characters evolved throughout the years and host humorous movie posters as well.
There is no doubt from the minute you enter the door that chocolate gives you energy –at least in terms of the colorful experience and upbeat music that the atmosphere of M&M’s World provides. The first or main floor offers a variety of brand items for sale – mugs, personalized key chains, charms, and any kind of souvenir you can think of and probably some you can’t. If your name is not among the personalized items, no problem – you can customize your own ID tag.
On the second floor, you won’t need a storm to find a rainbow. Colorworks, the rainbow wall, features 22 different M&M’s colors of both plain and peanut M&M’s. Also on this level, visitors can peruse a wide array of candy dispensers and logo T-shirts with sayings like “American Chocolate” and “Candy of the Opera.”
Dedicated entirely to collector’s items, the third floor has some unusual items for guests to view. One of them is a $275 M&M’s guitar. There are also purses made from actual M&M’s wrappers, as well as an assortment of M&M’s bling adorned with Swarovski crystal. Also on this level, “I Lost My M in Vegas,” a complimentary 3-D movie attraction plays seven days a week from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
On the top level, the fourth floor, merchandise such as home décor, suitcases, and lunch bags can be purchased. There’s even something for your pet – if he or she likes to wear sweaters. On this level is also the M&M’s Racing Team Shop, which offers an up-close-and-personal-look at Kyle Busch's M&M's sponsored race car.
Much of the merchandise is truly on the creative side -- games like M&M's Monopoly and dominoes, golf club covers and back scratchers. There are also fun things like martini glasses, Frisbees, beachwear, barbeque aprons with funny sayings, and much more.”
By the way, nothing will melt in your mouth here unless you purchase it – there is no sampling.
