Vince Neil Ink gives the needle to rock 'n' roll at the Rio
Now you can not only get your piece of the “rock” but you take it to go, too.
That’s thanks to the fact that a famed personality is making a different kind of mark in Las Vegas with Vince Neil Ink at the Rio, the ultra-rock tattoo parlor by collaborators Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe fame and rock star chopper builder Danny Koker, known as Count, of Count’s Kustoms.
Not only can you walk out of the shop with permanent body embellishment offered by a lineup of six respected and experienced artists assembled by Neil and Count but you can accompany it with a full selection of rock star threads by Seven Clothing Company, the lifestyle brand by Count, as well as official Vince Neil Ink, Count’s Kustoms, Feelgoods Rock Bar & Grill, and Seven Clothing merchandise, found in the tattoo parlor’s retail shop.
The 2800-square-foot Vince Neil Ink at the Rio is located on the second floor of the Masquerade Village at the hotel. The parlor boasts four work stations and one private room offering the true VIP experience.
Each of the tattoo artists has a unique talent to impart to patrons. Leading the team, with 17 years of experience, is kanji tattoo master Jerome Swanson. He is formerly from A&E Network’s reality series “Inked.” So are two of the tattoo parlor’s other artists Twigg Sparks, who specializes in fine line and portrait inkings, and Josh Petty, a well-rounded artist that favors a bold and bright new school and realistic art form.
If it’s traditional art that one prefers, then Jake-N-Eggs is the guy to see. Segueing into the neo-traditional is Junior, who infuses his art with horror realism and skulls; Rounding out the bag of diverse choices is Matt Ahn, who utilizes Polynesian and Asian-style influence from his home state of Hawaii.
Celebrating “the art of being bad,” Vince Neil Ink at the Rio is rock ‘n’ roll all the way, even in its décor. The walls, which are black and red and studded with purple velvet, feature Vince Neil and Motley Crue memorabilia and highlight the shop’s resident artists’ work as well. Pimped-out accoutrements include custom leather couches, eight flatscreen TVs, granite counter tops and custom choppers by Count’s Kustoms that pay homage to the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle
