For anyone wondering how Las Vegas came to be called “Sin City,” a visit to the Las Vegas Hilton’s 340-seat Shimmer Cabaret will instantly reveal all the bare facts.

There, “Sin City Bad Girls,” a show about naughty-filled fantasies, lets you dream with your eyes wide-open about Naughty School Girls, Nurses and Secretaries; a Sleepover Pajama Party, and Haystack Lovin’ Cowgirls. Although it is a topless revue with some hot-rockin’ scenarios to get off its chest, its creators, Executive Producer Glenn Medas and Producer-Director-Choreographer Michael Chambers, owners of Platinum Productions, have gone to great lengths to ensure the TLC factor --talent, Lorena Peril, and class.

Seven Sin-full dancers, five vignettes, and a live band that plays Rock, Pop, Country and R&B while lead singer Lorena Peril belts out songs, is the template that this sugar-and-spice show is made of. The music features hits from major artists such as: Lenny Kravitz, Christina Aguilera, Metallica, Trace Atkins, Van Halen, Tina Turner, AC-DC and more

Peril, a native of San Francisco, began singing in her father’s church as a small child. Early in her career, she sang and performed in local Bay Area clubs and festivals. She subsequently was offered a multi-year contract as Lead Vocalist for Carnival Cruise Lines. Most recently, she performed in “American Superstars” at the Stratosphere and she also still actively performs for corporations such as HBO, Showtime Television, Hilton Hotels, PCI Communications, General Motors, Planet Hollywood, and Nortel, among many others.

In addition to being the lead singer in “Sin City Bad Girls,” Peril also appears nightly in “Sin City Heat,” another show in the Shimmer Cabaret created and produced by Platinum Productions and which celebrated its third anniversary at the hotel in June.. In 2008, she released her first single, “Let You Go,” and has plans this year to record a new project.

“Sin City Bad Girls” contains 24 songs, including “Bad Girl,” “Naughty Naughty,” “Take It Off,” “American Woman,” Are You Gonna Go My Way,” “Save a Horse, Ride A Cowboy,” “Hot Blooded,” “Hot Legs,” “Girls, Girls, Girls” and “Shook Me All Night Long.”

As for Platinum Productions, Medes is a 25-year veteran of the entertainment industry and held executive positions with Bally’s, MGM Grand, and Mandalay Bay. Chambers is an Emmy Award winning choreographer and has worked with Janet Jackson, Cher, Sting, David Bowie, Paula Abdul, Disney, Warner Brothers, Redken, and many others.
